More than 500 corrective rapes are reported each year, and more than 30 South African lesbians have been murdered because of their sexuality over the past decade. There is a petition that is aiming to expose these crimes in South Africa. The mission is to get police to be more responsive to the corrective rapes and charge reasonable fines to the men performing these rapes. Sign the petition here. It only takes a name and an address.
